Shiro's Method

1

Boil the water and add the rice and chicken.

2

Pressure cook or slow boil until the rice is completely mushy and the water is absorbed into a thick porridge.

3

Ensure there are no large chunks of chicken.

4

Let it cool completely before serving in small portions.

Storage

Can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat slightly before serving so it's not ice-cold.

Serving Amount

1/2 cup to 1 cup per meal depending on size
