Chilled Kharbuja (Cantaloupe) Summer Pops
“A highly hydrating, low-calorie summer treat made with fresh Indian cantaloupe and curd.”
Ingredients
- 1 cup ripe Cantaloupe (Kharbuja) cubes, seeds and rind removed
- 1/2 cup fresh, plain unsweetened Curd (yogurt)
- 1 tsp Honey (optional)

Shiro's Method
Ensure all cantaloupe seeds and the hard rind are completely removed, as seeds can cause blockages.
Blend the cantaloupe cubes until you get a smooth puree.
Whisk in the plain curd and honey until smooth.
Pour into silicone molds or ice trays.
Freeze for 4-6 hours until solid.
Serve one pop as a cooling reward after a short evening walk.
Storage
Keep in an airtight bag in the freezer for up to 1 month.
Serving Amount
1-2 pops per day for large dogs
