Monsoon Immunity Turmeric Broth
“A warm, comforting broth to boost Shiro's immunity and keep joints healthy during the damp rainy season.”
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken Bones (or beef bones)
- 2 liters Water
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- A tiny pinch of Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar (to extract minerals)

Shiro's Method
Combine bones, water, and apple cider vinegar in a large pot or slow cooker.
Simmer on low for at least 6-8 hours (or 2 hours in a pressure cooker).
Strain out all bones carefully—never feed cooked bones to your dog!
Whisk in the turmeric and black pepper while the broth is still warm.
Let it cool completely and store in glass jars or freeze in ice cube trays.
Serve as a warm topper or a hydrating afternoon snack.
Storage
Refrigerate for up to 4 days, or freeze for 3 months.

1/4 cup to 1/2 cup as a meal topper
