Shiro's Monsoon Steamed Pumpkin & Chicken Mash

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pureed steamed pumpkin (unsweetened, seedless)
- 1/2 cup lean boneless chicken breast (steamed and shredded)
- 1/4 cup warm water or low-sodium bone broth
- Pinch of chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Shiro's Method
Steam the pumpkin cubes until soft, then mash thoroughly until smooth.
Steam the lean chicken breast without any oils or spices, then shred finely into bite-sized strands.
In a bowl, combine the mashed pumpkin and shredded chicken.
Add warm low-sodium bone broth or water to reach a porridge-like consistency.
Let cool until warm (never hot) and serve as a comforting meal topper or light meal.
Storage
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Warm slightly before serving.
